Barcelona vice-chairman Rafael Yuste has revealed that the Catalan giants are putting the finishing touches to a deal that will allow Thierry Henry to join a club in the United States.
Barca director general Joan Oliver hinted on Monday that a deal taking the France striker to the MLS was not out of the question and it appears now that such a move is quickly moving closer to taking place.
Yuster had earlier confirmed that Barca had also stepped up their pursuit of Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas and Valencia striker David Villa as plans for summer reinforcement continue.
Henry meanwhile has dismissed reports that a deal with MLS outfit New York Red Bulls had already been concluded.
"Currently, my only worry is preparing for the World Cup with France. I will have time to reflect on my future later," he told reporters.
