Rosell OK With Signing Villa Before World Cup

It seems like the signing of David Villa is becoming less and less of a rumor and more of a fact. Check this article out:

"Former Barcelona vice-president and one of the leading candidates in this summer's club electoral campaign, Sandro Rosell, has aired his view on the signing of Valencia striker David Villa, whom current president Joan Laporta hopes to sign before the end of his tenure at the Blaugrana club.

"If it is Pep Guardiolas decision, it looks good to me," said Rosell in comments reported by Marca. "It is logical to sign him now because after the World Cup he could cost twice as much."

Despite his break with Laporta, Rosell reiterated his support for current Blaugrana coach Guardiola, stating his hope that "he [Guardiola] becomes our version of [Sir Alex] Ferguson with respect to continuity".

Rosell is one of the most recognised names, and thus one of the leading candidates, in the Barca elections to be held on June 30."
