Arsenal Drop 40 Million Euro Price Tag On Fabregas

Arsenal have refused to lower their £40 million valuation of want-away midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to reports.

The Daily Express has reported the Gunners will demand Barcelona meet their demands before they will contemplate any transfer for the club captain.

However, the La Liga champions are expected to open the bidding at £30 million. They are reluctant to pay more due to the fact the north London outfit signed Fabregas from them for a meagre fee when he was just 16.

Fabregas has informed Arsene Wenger of his desire to return to the Nou Camp, and is hopeful his price tag will not scupper the move.
